GENUINE 925 STERLING SILVER
At House of Zarrin, we use genuine 925 sterling silver, plated with rhodium - a precious metal known for its brilliance and resistance to tarnish. This combination not only enhances the lustre of our jewellery but also ensures lasting durability. The rhodium plating adds an extra layer of protection, making our pieces more resistant to scratches and tarnishing, maintaining their pristine and sparkling appearance over time. We use 5A or 8A cubic zirconia stones to closely resemble diamonds in terms of brilliance and appearance. Our sterling silver pieces are stamped with a "925" or "S925" hallmark indicating the 92.5% silver present. The remaining 7.5% is copper since fine (pure) silver is too soft for most practical uses in jewellery. By alloying silver with copper, our skilled artisans can work with the metal more easily, creating intricate and detailed designs.
GOLD VERMEIL
Gold vermeil (pronounced ver-may) provides a solid gold look without the solid gold price. To be considered vermeil, the layer of solid gold must be at least 2.5 microns thick and it must be plated on sterling silver - another precious metal. This is 5 times more than regular plating. Opt for gold vermeil jewellery if you desire the opulent appearance of solid gold at a more affordable price point. At House of Zarrin, we use 18k gold as it provides a rich, luxurious appearance that closely resembles solid gold. The precious materials used for gold vermeil jewellery makes it the perfect choice for those with sensitive skin. PVD-COATED STAINLESS STEEL
Stainless steel jewellery is the perfect option for those with active lifestyles. It is a favoured metal in the jewellery industry because of its exceptional durability, corrosion resistance, and hypoallergenic properties, making it a high-quality and long-lasting material for crafting resilient statement pieces. You never have to take your stainless steel jewellery off so it’s ideal for those who have frequent exposure to water or those who desire jewellery that can withstand their daily activities. HOW SHOULD I STORE MY JEWELERY?
With every order, House of Zarrin provides a storage pouch. To preserve the beauty of your pieces, store your jewellery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use the pouch provided or an air-tight zip-loc bag/container to store your jewellery.
If storing multiple pieces together, we recommend keeping them in separate pouches to prevent scratching.

HOW SHOULD I CLEAN MY JEWELLERY?
With every order, House of Zarrin provides a lint-free microfibre cloth. Use this cloth to clean your jewellery after each wear to maintain its shine and lustre.
Avoid abrasive jewellery cleaners or brushes that may scratch the surface.
For stainless steel pieces, use mild soap and water, then dry with a soft cloth.
HOW CAN I KEEP MY JEWELLERY LOOKING BRAND NEW?
While we've taken every measure to delay the tarnishing process by using the highest quality materials, it's essential to note that tarnishing is a natural occurrence for precious materials such as sterling silver. No matter how much care you provide, sterling silver will naturally become oxidised and tarnish. To keep your jewellery at its best, avoid contact with harsh chemicals, perfumes, and lotions. Unless wearing stainless steel jewellery, avoid wearing your pieces in water. Clean your pieces with a soft, non-abrasive cloth regularly to restore shine.
Remember, your jewellery should be the last step of getting ready and the first step of getting unready.

CAN I WEAR MY JEWELLERY IN WATER?
Stainless steel jewellery is waterproof and sweat-proof which means it can be worn in water without worry of tarnishing or fading. These pieces are exceptionally durable and meant for everyday wear.
Although sterling silver & gold vermeil jewellery is water-resistant, we do not promote the idea of wearing these pieces in humid / moist conditions. Repeatedly exposing these precious materials to water, particularly chlorinated water, will dull the sparkle of the stones. We recommend opting for stainless steel jewellery if you are continuously exposed to humid conditions.
Over time, sterling silver will eventually tarnish no matter how much care you take. To prevent the tarnishing process occurring quicker, do not wear these pieces in water. Make sure your sterling silver jewellery is the last step of getting ready (after putting on perfume and lotions etc.). This way, your jewellery will keep its sparkle and colour for years. All sterling silver pieces at House of Zarrin are plated with a layer of rhodium to delay the tarnishing process.
CAN YOU REPLACE MY JEWELLERY UNDER THE 2 YEAR WARRANTY SCHEME?
We are committed to replace or repair any piece that has suffered a manufacturing defect (e.g. missing stone, damaged prongs setting) within 2 years of receipt at no extra cost. Our warranty does not cover scratches or tarnish as they are natural occurrences with everyday wear and tear. Please contact us by email for more details (contact@houseofzarrin.com) stating your order number, your name, and a clear photograph of the piece you’d like replaced. We are more than happy to help and inspect whether your ring can be replaced under our warranty scheme.
